Ben Waters

After 30 years of playing some of the iconic venues on the planet – Royal Festival Hall; Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, The Lincoln Centre, Cadogan Hall, and many more – Ben Waters is playing his last few gigs before he leaves the music scene. He is looking forward to coming with his band to Sherborne’s Pack Monday Fair on 11th October at Pageant Gardens to perform a farewell concert there. In an amazing career he has played, accompanied and recorded with many legendary musicians. Jools Holland, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have all been amazing mentors and friends. Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry are among the legends he has played alongside. Amazing concerts earlier this year featured Ronnie Wood, Imelda May, Sir Rod Stewart and even Johnny Depp! Ronnie’s new album –“ Mad Lad” – features Ben and Imelda May. The Waters dynasty lives on in the form of Ben’s sax playing son, Tom, who as well as about to embark on a four year course at the Royal Academy of Music, is making a great impact with his own band.

Come along on 11th October to shake those tail feathers to some of the best rock ‘n roll in the world!

Local band 'STRESS' will be supporting Ben Waters and will kick the night off. Doors are open at 18.00 and there is a fully licensed bar and refreshments on site.

Book tickets online early to avoid disappointment for this, not to be missed, evening.
